Watched videos, people are for it(SDI), people are against it. I don't actually care either way. People would bitch and moan about SDI even if it was perfect, people will always complain, it's the nature of youtube posters, and people making videos about it for views. (No, I don't believe in "integrity", anyone telling me that they're talking about integrity about this, is just lying to everyone, and we all know it.) Still, any institution will always be mocked for providing education, in any capacity, because it is not to peoples expectations. But guess what, you can't get the education you want because the Oversight committees quite literally control what can and cannot be accredited, and further pursuits will be limited in that capacity. "Oh but we can just-". What you have right now in the industry, is what you have. It isn't growing, it's stable, because it's extremely regulated. You want *that* to change, get a Masters in Political Science and become a Senator.

I bought an m22 warrior from olight in 2015 and the damn thing just constantly goes into strobe. Never considered another one. My streamlight wml and handhelds have all been great. I got a couple of nightstick headlamps when i was doing wildland fire, and those have been awesome.

The X300 Turbos are no joke. Best in class candela that also fits the majority of holsters. I like my PL350, changing heads and batteries are a nice feature but the switch issue kinda worries me even though I got the upgraded G2. Honestly, if Surefire made their pistol light heads removable and compatible with their rifle lights and handhelds, they'd be the absolute perfect pistol light. Yeah they're big but it's just uncomfortable carrying my Glock 19 gen 5 with a X300 than it is with a Streamlight TLR7A or TLR1-HL.

The possibility that SDI was a scam had never occurred to me (because I have no intention of being a gunsmith). I just assumed they were legit because the guntubers I trust most, especially Honest Outlaw and James Reeves, promoted them. But, it seems such an obvious scam now when you consider the fact that smithing is a purely hands-on skill, that requires proficiency on so much special tooling and equipment.

Homeboy doing the review seems a little too comfortable putting his hand/fingers in front of the muzzle of a loaded firearm. I know no one is perfect and hell I’m guilty of doing the same thing but there are probably people who watch this channel that are new to firearms and I think as a firearm centric content creator you have a responsibility to practice as close to perfect safe firearm handling practices and range operation practices as possible. Someone could watch this and think it’s okay to be handling a firearm with rounds in the magazine and/or chamber while their range buddy walks down to the target and that could be a recipe for disaster. No one is perfect and shit happens sometimes so why take the unnecessary risk of being lax with firearm and range safety? Is it really worth risking great bodily harm to seem marginally cooler or something along those lines? I’m not saying you should be a total safety nazi and show a close of up the empty mag and chamber, flag, case, and lock up all firearms before going down range to look at the target, but you could at least use the holster on your hip when your range buddy is walking down range.
